Mixing & Application Instructions
For flawless results, adherence to exact mixing protocols and timelines is strictly required. Prepare your surface mechanically before beginning.
-
Mix Ratio: 2 Component system. Pre-measured in a short fill kit for immediate in bucket mixing.
-
Mix Time: Exactly 3 minutes. You must use a box or cage style mixer. Crucial Note: Do not use a paddle mixer on a full kit of epoxy; it moves insufficient volume and will result in uncured soft spots.
-
Bucket Time: 8 minutes at 75°F. Epoxy cures via an exothermic reaction. Get the product out of the bucket and onto the floor immediately after mixing to prevent flash curing.
-
Working Time: 30 minutes at 75°F once poured onto the concrete substrate.
Application Options / Systems
Solid Color Epoxy Floors
For a clean, uniform look, apply One Stop Epoxy 100% Solids Industrial Grade Epoxy with solid color pigments to create a seamless, high gloss finish. Highly durable and exceptionally easy to maintain, this option is perfect for spaces where simplicity and functionality are key, such as garages, warehouses, or utility driven commercial settings.
Partial Flake Epoxy Floors
Combine the epoxy with solid color pigments and broadcast 1–3 pounds of vinyl flakes per 100 square feet. This creates a visually appealing texture while allowing the base color to shine through. This epoxy serves as a robust foundation for topcoats like our Urethane Topcoat, ensuring a long-lasting, durable finish.
Full Flake Epoxy Floors
For a textured, highly decorative full-coverage look, broadcast 40 pounds of vinyl flakes per 320 square feet into the wet epoxy. Experienced installers can finish the system with our high-performance PolyGloss 85. DIYers may prefer sealing the system with our high performance PolyGloss Slo Go, available in satin, matte, high gloss finishes, and pre pigmented colors for extended working times.
Commercial Grade Floors
For a heavy duty commercial system, start with a base coat of One Stop Epoxy Moisture Vapor Epoxy to ensure proper adhesion and moisture protection. Once cured, apply a layer of One Stop Epoxy 100% Solids Industrial Grade Epoxy at a coverage rate of 100 square feet per gallon. Finish with a Urethane Topcoat for surface strength, and add a final layer of T2 for maximum wear resistance in high traffic retail, showroom, or warehouse environments.
Non-Slip Industrial Floors
Start with a base coat of One Stop Epoxy Moisture Vapor Epoxy. Once cured, apply the 100% Solids Industrial Grade Epoxy and broadcast kiln dried sand, silica sand, or paving sand to rejection. After the epoxy cures, sweep and vacuum the excess sand, then apply a grout coat of the 100% Solids Industrial Grade Epoxy. Lock the system in with a Urethane Topcoat for a highly aggressive, non slip finish perfect for wet or oily industrial zones.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much working time do I have with this epoxy?
Once poured onto the floor, you have a working time of exactly 30 minutes at 75°F. However, you only have a bucket time of 8 minutes at 75°F, so you must pour the mixed epoxy out of the bucket immediately to prevent it from flash curing.
2. What kind of mixer should I use for a 3-gallon kit?
You must use a box or cage style mixer and mix for exactly 3 minutes. Do not use a standard paddle mixer on a full kit, as it moves insufficient volume and can lead to improper curing.
3. Do I need to buy separate color pigments or a mixing bucket?
No. One Stop Epoxy 100% Solids Industrial Grade Epoxy is sold pre pigmented (saving you $20-$60) and comes in a short-fill kit that acts as its own mixing container, saving you an additional $5.50 and a trip to the store.
4. How much area will one 3-gallon kit cover?
A 3-gallon kit will generally cover up to 400 square feet depending on the application. For commercial applications it covers 100-135 SFPG, and as a receiver coat for vinyl chips, it covers 133-150 SFPG.
5. Can I use this epoxy for a full flake floor system?
Yes, it acts as an excellent base coat for full flake systems. You will apply the epoxy, broadcast 40 pounds of vinyl flakes per 320 square feet, and once cured, topcoat it with a protective clear coat like PolyGloss 85 or PolyGloss Slo Go.

Application Equipment: Flat – 3/16 inch notched rubber squeegee Rollers
3/8” nap, woven, shed-resistant roller cover in 4, 9 , or 18 inch.
2 inch chip brush
Mixing: 100% Solids Self Leveling is a two-component coating and proper mixing is required.
Mix base thoroughly to disperse pigment before mixing with activator. (This is the time to add in your pigment)
Mix 2 parts base to 1 part activator by volume for two minutes, material is immediately ready for use after mixing base and activator; no induction time required. Do not mix more material than can be used within the working time.
Pot Life NONE – GET IT OUT OF THE BUCKET! Approximately working time is 30-45 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity. Higher temperatures or humidity will shorten pot-life and working time.
Application Procedure: Pour mixed material onto floor in a long bead approximately 12-18 inches wide. Do not drain or scrape remaining material in bucket.
Use either a flat or notched rubber squeegee and spread material to uniform thickness.
After material is spread, back-roll your material with a 3/8” shed-resistant woven roller cover.
