One Stop Epoxy runs a two day hands on epoxy flooring class at our training facility in Orlando, Florida. You show up the first morning with or without experience. You leave the second day having built a full flake floor and a metallic floor with your own hands, knowing what to charge for both.

Tuition is $495. A single two car garage floor sells for several times that. This class pays for itself on your first job.

Eight Flooring Systems, Not One

Most epoxy training classes teach one system. Then you get a call for a commercial kitchen and you have nothing to sell. This class covers the eight systems contractors actually get asked to quote:

• Concrete surface preparation and grinding
• Grind and seal
• Solid color epoxy
• Partial flake
• Full flake
• Sand broadcast
• Quartz
• Metallic epoxy

You will also learn the real differences between epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, moisture vapor barriers, primers, and topcoats, and which one belongs on which job. Walk into an estimate knowing what that slab needs and you win work the guy quoting one system cannot touch.

You Build Two Floors. By Hand.

This is not two days in a folding chair watching slides.

Students build a complete full flake floor and a complete metallic floor. You mix the epoxy. You pull the base coat. You throw the flake. You pour and work the metallic. You scrape, vacuum, and topcoat. Participation is optional, but the class is built around it, and the students who put their hands in the material are the ones who leave able to do this on Monday.

Metallic is the system that sells for the most money and gets ruined the most often. Learning it on a training floor costs $495. Learning it on a customer's garage costs you the job, the material, and the reputation.

The Business Side Nobody Teaches

Plenty of good installers go out of business anyway. The second day covers the part that keeps you open: pricing jobs with real numbers, knowing your true cost per square foot, qualifying customers before you burn a day on an estimate, selling the better system instead of the cheapest one, handling the lowball competitor, contracts, deposits, insurance, and hiring.

You leave knowing what a floor costs you and what it should sell for.

Epoxy Flooring Class FAQs

How long is the epoxy flooring class?

Two days. Day one runs 8 hours starting at 8:00 AM. Day two runs 4 to 6 hours starting at 8:00 AM. Check the date you are registering for, since class days vary.

How much does the epoxy training class cost?

Tuition is $495 per student, including all materials used during the class. Snacks and drinks provided and we'll even provide lunch on day one.

Do I need experience to attend?

No. The class starts at the concrete and builds from there, so a student with no epoxy background can follow it. Experienced installers get their value from the metallic work, the system comparisons, and the pricing section.

Will I actually install a floor, or just watch?

You install. Students who want to participate build a full flake floor and a metallic floor by hand, from mixing through topcoat. Participation is optional, but the class is built around it.

Do students run the grinders?

No. Surface preparation, tooling selection, and grinding are taught, but students do not grind during class. Grinding a floor takes hours and the training floor has to stay intact for the coating work.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Students receive a certificate of completion. Epoxy flooring has no industry wide license or certification requirement, so the certificate documents your training rather than serving as a state credential.

Do I have to buy materials from One Stop Epoxy?

No. There is no purchase requirement to attend and no obligation afterward.

What should I wear?

Closed toe shoes and clothes you do not mind ruining. Epoxy does not come off.

Can I register my employees or send someone in my place?

Yes. Companies regularly register installers and new hires rather than training them on a paying customer's floor. We need the specific attendee names when you register. If you need to swap one employee for another, send us the replacement name at least 24 hours before the class starts.

How often are classes held?

Classes run approximately every 6 weeks, with adjustments for holidays.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made within 72 hours of purchase and no less than 14 calendar days before the class start date. Both conditions have to be met for a full refund. If you register inside 14 days of a class, the seat is non refundable. Once the window closes, tuition is non refundable and cannot be moved to a later class.

Where exactly is the class held?

6422 Milner Blvd Suite 102, Orlando, FL 32809. Training is in Suite 102, our dedicated training facility. The retail store is next door in Suite 101, so park in the same lot and come to Suite 102.
